The Freewriters' Creed

This is from a book that I'm working on: titled "The Writer". I won't go into it in depth, but will mention that not all is what it may seem. This the creed, moral code or life mission of the secret society by the name of "The Freewriters". They at one point where one with the Illuminati; when they stood for the common-people. They split from the group; when ideologies did not match with the tended purpose. The Freemason and The Freewriters were bore. But, this is much more than a fictional creed for a fictional society. T. S. Eliot once said and I paraphrasing here "In this day and age we should live with a moral code." I couldn't find the exact quote, even if he didn't say this; it's still a noble idea. In this day and age, most of us live without purpose and with our heads held high; for what reason... I frankly don't know why. All I know is: that forgetting a problem caused by monsters; soon will make us into a monster. Pretending that there is nothing wrong is an aid to those who commit the crime. So, this creed is fictional, but it is something that I believe that should be fought for. The truth. If there is anything worth dying for; it is to be free from monstrous lies. At least, for me it is something worth far more than gold.

The truth is the utmost important thing to fight for. No bullet nor pen can stop us. We will seek the truth and pay for it with our lives; if we must. The people need to know that there are people that can be counted on. We are the ones that they can count on. The truth is all that matters and is the reason for our own existence. We exist to search for it and bring it to light. The light of the truth is brighter than the darkness that, the powers that may be, hide away in their secrets. They fear us. They have no power over us. They are nothing more than scared little men. We don’t fear them. We may be few in numbers, but our hearts are vast. The pain to search for the truth is our strength and our pleasure. All that matters is to be free from their control and let mankind be. They have lost before their dawn and will be dust before the dawn of man. They fight for themselves and we fight for those who cannot. We will win, for it has been written and they will see it upon our faces. As they push the blade into us they will know that they are the dead-ones and we will live forever. For good-man have and forever will be remember as good-men and evil-men will forever be remembered as a dead-hearted-man. Truth is all that matters and truth is all that we fight for. When people will be truly free; that is when we won’t be needed. That is the time we wait for. To be no longer needed and mankind be.
